A New Era for Backyard Mission Trip

A New Chapter for Backyard Mission Trip

For more than a decade, Backyard Mission Trip has mobilized thousands of volunteers to serve families across Hancock County.

From repainting playground maps to building wheelchair ramps, from clearing yards to restoring dignity, BMT became more than an event. It became a movement.

From the beginning, our vision was not simply a one-day service project. It was to cultivate a lifestyle of serving neighbors.

Today, we are grateful to share that we have seen that vision take root.

After prayerful consideration, the steering committee has decided to conclude the organized annual BMT event. We believe this marks not an ending but a transition into a new era, one in which churches, organizations, and individuals continue serving throughout the year.
